Open a plain text editor like Notepad or TextEdit.
Type in your subtitle text in the following format:
1
00:00:10,500 --> 00:00:13,000
This is the first subtitle. 2
00:00:15,000 --> 00:00:18,000
This is the second subtitle.
Note: The first line is the subtitle number, the second line contains the start and end times of the subtitle, and the third line is the subtitle text.
Save the document with a .srt extension. To do this, click on "File" in the top left corner of your text editor and select "Save As".
In the "Save As" dialog box, choose a location to save the file, give it a name and then add the ".srt" extension to the end of the file name (e.g. "myfile.srt").
In the "Save as type" drop-down menu, choose "All Files" or "Text Documents (*.txt)" so that the file is saved as a plain text file.
Click the "Save" button to save the file.
Your document is now saved as a .srt file and can be used as subtitles in video players that support the .srt format.For Video Guide Please watch this video
